Bill was Born in Mason county in Illinois. Bill commented in one of his songs, that it has been a strange journey to complete a Cd and write songs. Bill recalls, that as long as he can remember, he's been able to do impersonations. He's gotten up to nearly 50 impersonations, but never really did anything with them. He's been compared to the likes of, John Conlee, Johnny Cash and
Leonard Cohen.

He's always had a love of music. It is not uncommon to find Bill singing old John Conlee or Johnny Cash songs at work. One evening a friend of Bill's, Brian Carman asked Bill why he always sung other peoples songs, and not his own? Bill responded that he didn't think he could write his own songs. He added that he has dreamnt about songs, but didn't think he could actually write his own while awake. Bill, just joking around with his friend, blurted out a line. Bill's friend commented that would make a great song. That was the first part of "Ross Perot Where are You." Unknown to Bill, he had a hidden talent. That was the beginning his love for writing music. Bill admits that you never know what will trigger a song. He is very excited to have his original music now on the radio. Bill adds, "Who knows, when a new idea come’s to you where it will lead you."
